After heading up Gowbarrow Fell earlier this morning we returned to Grasmere and I headed on a short walk around the Lake as the weather was still Ok and the lake has some stunning reflections.

The opening stretch of the walk followed the road south out of Grasmere and although busy with traffic on one side, there are views like this on the other! Nice to get this bit over with first!

All is calm down by the lake.

Looking north to Dunmail Raise with Helm Crag to the left and Seat Sandal to the right.

And again but the wind seems to have picked up a little.

Now in Grasmere and we passed the parish church.
