Today we headed up to Higher Shelf Stones and the crash site of the B29 Superfortress as some friends who were with us wanted to visit and the weather was set to be lovely.

Starting off at Doctors Gate to join the Roman Road over the moor.

Looking down the other side of Doctors Gate.

We headed up this valley and over to the left to Higher Shelf Stones.

Exploring the wreckage just below the summit. Of all the times I have been here, this is the first time in the sunshine!
