Coppermine Valley

Distance: 5.85km (3.63 Miles)
Ascent: 153m (502ft)
Duration: 2 Hours 11 Minutes

With even more terrible weather inbound I was dropped off at the Walna Scar Car Park and I walked down into Coniston via the Coppermines and many waterfalls it has to offer.

The Bell as I work my way towards the Coppermines. At least I had a view!

Many ruins and spoil heaps around this valley.

One of the many levels.

The Pudding Stone and the outlet of Low Water. How is it that that waterfall is not named!

We need to name this because its spectacular! Low Force doesn’t sound good enough…

Levers Water Beck. I headed up the left side to Levers Waterfall.

Levers Waterfall.

Now on the way down the valley towards Coniston and there are numerous falls along Church Beck.

Church Beck Falls.
