In late February 2022 I headed to the Peak District for a Wild Camp on the summit of Kinder Scout. This is Day 2 of a 2 day walk which begins with a stop at the summit of Kinder Low followed by hunting out the official highest point on Kinder Scout. The next stops are Kinder Downfall and a 624m Trig Point on the north western corner of the Kinder Plateau. The first of 3 crash sites is then visited on the moorland north of the Kinder Plateau followed by following the entire northern edge of Kinder to the 590m Trig on the hills eastern end. Just south of there I visit two additional crash sites before descending back down to Edale.
