Little Wratting

Distance: 8.83km
Ascent: 85m
Duration: 2 Hours 56 Minutes

Today I headed over towards Haverhill to walk to the Historic Church in Little Wratting. I started at Kedington before heading out along the fields to Little and Great Wratting and returned along the Stour Valley Path.

Kedington Church, reportedly built on top of a Roman Villa and a Saxon treat inside!

At the end of the Chancel is a Saxon Cross.

Kedington Mill.

The riverside path in Kedington, not for me today though.

Open fields towards Little Wratting.

Everything turning green.

The Norman church in Little Wratting.

And the medieval church in Great Wratting.

And from the other side. I think the oldest part might be the Chancel on the left which is 13th Century.

Back by the River Stour.
